Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Thanks for joining me today while we take a look together at this Roadmaster dual receiver hitch adapter. That's right, folks, you can use this in the drop like it is now, or you can flip it over and use it in the rise as well. It's rated at an impressive 10,000 pounds capacity. Now, before we get too much into it, I wanna remind about it.
We do love any kind of feedback you want to give us on any product, not just this one. If you don't mind doing a review once you get this installed, maybe some photos, video perhaps, and a short little review of what you're using it for, what you like, what you don't like, maybe how can we improve it. Now that being said, this is gonna be great for towing a trailer and then also mounting a bike rack or maybe another hitch accessory at the same time. So as you can see, I wanna start off and show you this shank back here, or stinger, whatever you wanna call it. This is solid piece of steel, so you're not gonna easily bend that or brake that.
So again, 10,000 pounds capacity. You have your standard five eighth inch hitch pin hole here, here, and here. There are no hitch pins or locks included. I highly recommend you investing in a locking set if you don't already have one to protect your investment here. Now, you have eight inches of drop or rise again, depending on if you flip this over or not.
And this is gonna be for your two inch by two inch receiver tubes. Now, we mentioned the gross towing weight of 10,000 pounds, but the tongue weight or the four straight down on the tongue area is ready for 400 pounds max. So make sure you're keeping in line with those regulations from the manufacturer. Now this does come with a set of instructions and all those kind of things, so make sure you're reading them and following them. Now, some quick measurements real quick before we finish up.
From the center of the hitch pin hole back here, right here to the center of this hitch pin hole here, I got right at 10 and three eighth inches on center, and then the front one down here at the base that's a little bit farther out. I got from the center of this hole to this one about 11 and a half inches. So I hope those measurements help you if you need 'em. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. Again, this is the Roadmaster dual receiver hitch adapter with an eight inch rise or drop rate of 10,000 pounds. I'm Steven. As always, stay safe while your towing.
