When you’re towing different trailers, matching heights can be a hassle. This Curt adjustable pintle hook and 2-5/16" hitch ball combo makes it easy to dial in the perfect height. The channel mount lets you slide the pintle hook up or down in 1" increments, giving you up to 8-3/4" of drop or 2-5/8" of rise. Leveling your setup keeps everything tracking straight and reduces sway when hauling heavy loads.

With a 20,000 lb gross towing weight and a 2,000 lb tongue weight rating, it’s made for heavy-duty trailers and equipment. The solid steel shank slides into a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver and stays locked in place with included pins and clips for dependable pulling strength trip after trip.
Whether your trailer uses a standard coupler or a lunette ring, this hitch has you covered. The pintle hook connects securely to lunette ring couplers with a 2-1/2" or 3" inside eye diameter, while the 2-5/16" chrome-plated hitch ball handles standard couplers. You can latch and lock the pintle in the up position when using just the ball, so you don’t have to swap hardware between trailers.
No one likes a noisy hitch clanking down the road. The built-in anti-rattle device on the shank keeps things tight for quieter towing. A gloss black powder coat protects the steel shank and platform from corrosion, while the chrome plating on the ball adds an extra layer of rust resistance. Packaged VERY WELL, this is the second one I have purchased. One for personal use and one for work to tow a 14k lb generator. For the price, you cannot beat the rating and I like to go overkill since having extra capacity has never let me down yet.
Very easy/quick to change the height of the pintle/ball and I much prefer this to others on the market that requires a socket set and wrench to adjust. Great Quality!

Love the hitch, but there is one hole setting that the allen set screw does not touch the receiver ball and does not allow the allen to take any slop out of the pins slide.

works Great! the only negative I would say is that If you run multiple trailers make sure you check your chains, you might need to extend them as this hitch does extend out a couple inch's more that a standard hitch.
Customer service with etailer is excellent. My original order had a damaged box with hardware missing. The hardware was replaced quickly.
I found the heavy duty hitch I wanted locally, but etrailer was over $100 less with free shipping. Received the hitch in 4 days. Very pleased. Will be ordering my puck gooseneck ball from etrailer, as well.

Exactly what I was looking for. Adjustable for multiple trailers with different tongue heights
extremely heavy duty, I feel much more comfortable with the added strength of this drawbar and hitch while towing my sailboat across country. I have never seen anything this robust in any stores.
The adjustable height is perfect for me since i run two military trailers with lunette rings and one with the large ball.

Bought for new gmc 3500. I know the receiver came with the adapter, but why sacrifice the strength and integrity.
