Hello Gary, thanks for reaching out. The Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack # PM34FR has a lift (throw) range from 8.5 inches to 37.75 inches. So whatever you’re planning to lift with it, you’ve got plenty of headroom and reach based on that range.

not what I was trying to ask; probabley not using correct term.... by the term "throw" i was reffering to the to the "lifting height" of the jack itself. thanks

@GaryH Ok I gotcha. Without any of the extension pieces it lifts from 8.5" to 14.25" so the total lift would be 5.75". Does that answer your question? let me know if there is anything else you need.
