Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at this Superwinch Snatch Block. Now, this snatch block is an incredibly useful and efficient tool, which can multiply the pulling power of your winch when used properly. It allows your winch to pull a greater resistance load with less force, and you can safely change direction, allowing you to move around corners during recovery. It also reduces the wear and tear on your winch components, so it's a must have when going off highway for peace of mind. Now, as you can see, it has these nice easy open side plates or simple rope mount, and you just wrap your rope around this wheel, and then when you bring these side plates together, you can attach a D-ring, a shackle, or a clevis right here, and then connect it to your anchor point.

So let me lay this on the side here and give you some measurements. The overall length here, we're sitting right at 10 inches long, and then in regards to the width, we are gonna be sitting almost five inches, I'm gonna say about 4 7/8 inches wide, and then the thickness, I think the easiest way to do this, I'm gonna lay this here and stick my ruler here on the wheel opening, the overall thickness, we're gonna be sitting right at about 2 3/8 inches thick. And then the diameter of the hole here, we're gonna be sitting right at about 2 1/4 inches there, and then if you're interested in the diameter of this wheel opening, we're gonna be sitting just about an inch and a half there in that opening. Now, the maximum wire rope diameter is going to be half an inch, and the safe working load limit is 12,000 pounds, and the maximum load is 36,000 pounds, and this is not to be used for hoisting. This does have a one year limited warranty.
