Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this bulldog winch recovery pulley for synthetic ropes. This is a six-and-a-quarter inch diameter recovery pulley. That's going to allow you to increase your winch's pulling power or allow you to change the direction of your pull, so you can get a straight pull from, or for your winch. This does have a work you'd lone...
working load limit of 22,500 pounds and a break strength of 45,000 pounds. But of course, you're going to want to go off of that working load limit to make sure that everything's going to work properly. This will allow you to use up to a 9/16ths inch diameter synthetic rope. You will want to use synthetic. This is not designed for wire rope.
The aluminum construction of this wheel is going to be less abrasive for your synthetic ropes than your steel wheels. So it's going to be a really nice option to ensure that your wire rope is going to be handled well. And you will want to attach this to a solid connection point like a tree or something like that, using an up to 13/16ths inch diameter rope shackle and/or recovery strap. Those are both sold separately. You can find them here at etrailer.com but it's very easy to get this installed.
Just run your rope shackle through, get it connected and then have your wire synthetic rope running around to get connected to whatever it is that you're wanting to pull. So a really nice option here for those of you who have a winch with a synthetic rope will do a great job of allowing you a greater pull strength and allowing you to line things up so that your winch is pulling straight on. So that's going to complete our look for today. And again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
