Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at Gustafson's RV sidewall light, part number 277-000254. And this is what our light's going to look like when it's installed.The swirled frosted shade with the nickel plated base is going to give it an elegant and stylish look. This will mount right to the wall in your RV or camper, and should complement most interiors, and update it giving it a modern look.It features a switch built in with it. This is where you can hit it on and off, right at the light. That also gives you a little versatility when wiring it in, so you don't need to wire it to an already existing switch in your RV.The bulb is a 921 and comes included with it.The base dimensions are seven and three quarter inches tall, three and a half inches wide, and three quarters inches deep. The overall dimensions are nine and three quarters inches tall, three and a half inches wide and five inches deep.It uses a two hole mount, and from center to center on our mounting holes, it's going to be two and a half inches.Our customer Michael had to say, "This product was purchased to replace an older fixture.

Compared to the drab fixtures in older RV's, this is going to give it a more uplifting bright feeling.Now before we install our light, it's always important to make sure that you have the power off in your RV. You don't want to cause any shorts, as shorts can lead to fires and other damage to your vehicle.You'll install your light by hooking the white wire to your ground source, and the black wire from the switch to your 12 volt power source. We're just using some wire nuts to attach those. You can also use some butt connectors.
If you need some butt connectors, you can pick them up here at etrailer.com.There's no mounting hardware included with the light. We're using the bracket from our original light, as we're replacing our old one. So this bracket already has the studs and stuff that we'll need. If you need some hardware, you can pick some up at your local hardware store.The dish design of our base will conceal all of our wiring inside of it. It'll tuck in behind there, and it won't pinch it or cause any damage to the wiring, giving you a nice clean install.With our hardware in place, we're ready to test it out.

Items were VERY poorly packed. Glass is fragile and the lights were not packaged properly. Amazing that only one glass was broken! Hopefully none of the bulbs are affected.
Brooke M - 10/12/2021I was waiting to get the final lamp to show you what they look like. I'm happy to post them in the appropriate place if you would like me to. The only problem is, the wall sconces didn't come with the right color screws, so you might see in the pictures that the screws don't really blend in. We were going to go to Home Depot and get some new ones. Otherwise, we love these lots and lots!
I liked the first one I bought so I purchased a second to install in my motor coach

Just received my order. I'm installing this in my home. I'm off the gride. I wired in 12volt for back-up lighting. I was hoping it came with Led blub.
The wall lamps look great and very easy to install. I had to make minor adjustments on the wall bracket for each of the three lamps. Took about five minutes for each lamp. Recommend etrailer. By the way, the costs of the lamps were very reasonably.
Was a perfect fit for my [email protected] trailer. I replaced an old 2005 12V fixture with this one. I like it much better.
Nice light decided to add another in the motor coach they look and work better than the stock
The lights are beautiful. One light was slightly bent, but I was able to bend it back. One thing to improve is I would have liked if it came with matching screws, there were none. Most people are replacing old light fixtures in their RV, likely brass and Corri use the brass screws looks bad.

Great product, exactly what I was expecting as a replacement light. Only issue was it does not come with mounting hardware (which was clearly noted on their web site and I assumed I did not need. I had to install with 2 regular screws). Great service from eTrailer as it was delivered quickly over the holidays.

These are great lights. Solid, no rattles, and the globe(s) stay put even after quite a bit of travel. I replaced several original brass fixtures with these and am very pleased with the quality and price.
