Use this kit to mount your SuperSprings leaf spring helper kit if your factory leaf springs are located above your axle.
Features:
For vehicles with factory leaf springs that set above the axle, this mounting kit ensures that SuperSprings operate silently when the vehicle isn't loaded. When factory springs set below the axle, the axle itself serves as a fulcrum for the helper leaf springs. However, for vehicles that have OEM springs that set above the axle, the 2-inch brackets in the mounting kit act as fulcrum points on the underside of the SuperSprings. Furthermore, the shackles at the ends of the helper springs hold them in place and pivot as the load is transferred to the SuperSprings. Because there is minimal preload tension in the installed SuperSprings, you get a quieter ride.
Bolt the mounting brackets to the factory spring packs using the U-bolts, cross plates, washers and nuts included in the kit. When installed correctly, the Nylok self-locking nuts won't loosen. After you install the mounting brackets, tighten the U-bolt nuts while the rear of the vehicle is still off the ground. After the springs are installed, lower the vehicle to the ground and retighten the U-bolt nuts.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at the SuperSprings mounting kit for your OEM leaf springs above the axle. Now this is going to be for vehicles with factory leaf springs that set above the axle. And this mounting kit is going to ensure that your SuperSprings operate silently when your vehicle isn't loaded. When factory springs set below the axle, the axle itself serves as a fulcrum for the helper leaf springs.
However, for vehicles that have OEM springs that are set above the axle, the two inch brackets in the mounting kit act as a fulcrum, as fulcrum points on the underside of the SuperSprings. Furthermore, the shackles at the ends of the helper springs hold them in place and pivot as the load is transferred to the SuperSprings. Because there is minimal preload tension in the installed SuperSprings, you're gonna get a quieter ride. So to install these, you're gonna bolt the mounting brackets to the factory spring packs, using the four inch long U bolts, cross plates, washers, and nuts that are included in this kit. And as you can see, I do kind of have this loosely assembled, just to give you an idea of how all of the hardware is going to be put together with these brackets.
So when this is installed correctly, the Nylock self-locking nuts are not going to loosen for you. After you install the mounting brackets, you just tighten the U-bolt nuts while the rear of the vehicle is still off the ground. And after the springs are installed, just lower the vehicle to the ground and re-tighten the U bolt nuts. Instructions are included to guide you through the installation process. And that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
