E16 5th Wheel Jaw

Simple, Secure Hookup

With a dual-pivoting head that offers 10 degrees of lateral movement, the E16 fifth-wheel hitch makes hookup a snap, even on unlevel ground. Once the king pin slides into the hitch, the auto-locking, slide-bar jaw secures it in place. A unique feature of the E16 is the rear steel tension bar within the jaw that activates upon hookup to clamp down on the king pin, providing a tighter grip that maximizes security and minimizes rattle.

R16 5th Wheel Roller

Non-Binding S20 Slider

Specially designed for trucks with 6' to 8' beds, this non-binding slider helps to eliminate clearance problems during slow-speed turns. When you are towing a fifth-wheel trailer, your hitch must be situated on the cab side of your truck's rear axle. However, at slow speeds you can use a slider to slide the fifth-wheel hitch (and the trailer) toward your truck's tailgate and past the rear axle, creating enough space between the cab of your truck and the trailer to permit less-restricted turning.

  • Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch for a 2017 F-250 Super Crew with 6 3/4 Bed
Since you have a Keystone trailer with the Turn Max technology you don't need a slider at all actually. Manual or automatic slider would not be needed. With fifth wheel hitch you actually don't really need them to sit higher than the bed rails of the truck. It's actually the opposite in nearly every situation that the hitch sits below the top of the bed rails. The pin box of the truck extends down far enough to compensate for that. The Reese fifth wheel hitch part # RP30047 is a similar...

  • Recommended Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch With a 14" Height Adjustment
Unfortunately not, Chuck. It looks like the Reese Square Tube Slider for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30048 will only adjust down to 15" so it's going to be a tick out of reach. It looks like to get what you're after you're going to need to swap your hitch out with something like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR which has an adjustment range of 14" to 17" so you'd be right where you need to be height wise.

  • Correct Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for a 2023 Ford F-150
I checked with Curt, the correct Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for a 2023 Ford F-150 is part # C93WR. This is an excellent kit that has everything you need to install a fifth wheel hitch like the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with S20 Slider part # C23DR which is what I recommend. If you are just looking for something to get you by however, the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with S20 Slider part # C95DR is a good option. The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit is...

  • Fifth Wheel Hitch & Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2014 GMC 2500 Denali Short Bed
Absolutely, the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR that you referenced would be an excellent choice for a slider hitch. The Reese rail kit part # RP50066-58 that you referenced would also be an excellent choice for a rail kit. This is a custom install kit that will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.

  • Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch to Replace Older Hitch
That hitch head won't work on the old Reese hitch you have, so you can still upgrade your sliding 5th wheel hitch, but it will need to be a new hitch. The best option for that is the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR.

  • What 5th Wheel Hitch Do I Need For My 2022 Ram Big Horn
I do have a solution for you, but there are quite a few variables. Your 2022 Ram Bighorn is available in all three sizes, 1500, 2500, and 3,500. I am not sure if you have the 5th wheel Load & Towing Groups package or if you have the Ram 1500, so I will recommend two 5th wheel hitches. One that will be compatible with a 5th wheel tow package and one that will not be compatible with that setup. If you have the 2500 or 3500 Big Horn with the 5th wheel tow package, I recommend the following: B&W...

  • Towing Capacity and Recommended Hitch to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer with a 2014 Toyota Tundra
The towing capacity of your 2014 Tundra is determined by Toyota, not either dealership. I recommend checking your owner's manual with your truck's specifics. Or you can contact Toyota with your VIN and they should be able to tell you how it came directly from the factory. I looked up a copy of your truck's manual but I'd still look at a printed copy if possible because as you said it has the tow package and 5.7L V8 but the capacity also depends on the bed length and cab style. From what...

  • Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2015 Ram 2500 without Rail Kit Short Bed
For a fifth wheel rail install kit confirmed to fit your 2015 Ram 2500 short bed without the underbed rail kit you would want the Reese Custom Install Kit part # RP56009-53. This is a custom install kit that will minimize drilling and will cut install time in half when compare to a much more difficult to install universal rail kit. This rail kit would work great with the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR.

  • Should Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch Be Used on 2018 Ford F-250 with Short Bed
Unless the 5th wheel trailer you plan on getting is equipped with a pivoting pin box like the Reese Sidewinder or Lippert Turning Point, we do always recommend using a sliding hitch on trucks that have a bed shorter than 8 feet. The slider travel is going to allow you to make sharper turns when towing without having to worry about the trailer crashing into the back of your cab. The fixed Reese # RP30928 that you were looking for is an excellent choice, and for a slider you would use part...

  • Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 Short Bed
Since you have a 6-1/2 foot bed you are going to need a slider hitch to allow you to make sharp turns without cab/trailer interference. The # BWRVK3300 is a stationary hitch so it would not be ideal for you. Plus it's designed to fit Ford hitch prep packages. You would need to go with a slider hitch like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR. For a rail kit you will want to go with a custom install kit like the part # RP56001-53 which will install in about half the...

  • Recommended Reese Sliding Hitch for 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty
I recommend going with the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR for your 2020 Ford F-250 with a short bed. This hitch will provide you with the needed clearance from the cab of the truck to assist when making sharp turns while towing your 5th wheel trailer. Since you don't have the OEM prep package, you'll need base rails # RP50074-58, which are a custom installation base rail kit designed specifically for Ford Super Duty trucks and will allow you to use the Curt # C95DR. • Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-250 Short Bed
For your 2017 Ford F-250 without the factory rail kit I'd recommend the Reese custom install kit part # RP50074-58 as this won't require any frame drilling like a universal style kit would. This is especially nice for if your plan is to eventually up grade to an underbed kit. Then for a hitch the Curt 16k slider part # C95DR is priced well and has a jaw design that wraps around the king pin to minimize noise and movement.

  • Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2016 Ford F-150 Short Bed
The # RP30035 can be installed on a 2016 Ford F-150 but it also requires the use of the adapter part # RP58531 that will making it be more cost effective to go with a custom rail kit for your truck. Custom rail kits are much preferred as they minimize drilling and install time greatly. For that you would want the part # RP50087-58 which has been confirmed as a fit for your truck. Since you have a short bed truck you would need to go with a slider hitch like the part # C95DR to give you...

  • Fifth Wheel Slider Hitch Recommendation for 2002 Ford F-150 Short Bed
Reese does not offer their Elite style of under-bed rails for your 2002 Ford F-150 so you wouldn't be able use the Elite slider hitch you mentioned in your truck. You'd need to use an above-bed style of slider hitch like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ S20 Slider # C95DR. So for a rail kit to fit your truck you'd then want the Curt rail kit part # C16437-204 which is a custom fit for your truck and will also fit your rail kit.

I don't recognize the brand of the bags as they don't match what we carry but most likely you'd have to remove the kit to install fifth wheel rails.
