It is designed to fit the 2002 to 2012 Dodge Ram and Dodge 1500, 2500, 3500 trucks without over lift springs. And it'll show you if this part will work for your application.Now, these 10 bolt base rails, these are what'll sit in your truck bed and provide the necessary attachment points for your fifth wheel trailer hitch. The universal brackets and the semi-custom bracket will mount beneath your truck bed to provide attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. The semi-custom bracket will basically install on the passenger side on the rail nearest the bumper that basically replaces one of the universal brackets.Now, these rails are compatible with hitches by Curt, Drawtight, Kid and Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley, and most standard fifth wheel hitches.
They will not fit the Reese Elite series or the Valley UBS hitches.These parts are all a sturdy steel construction with a nice black powder coat finish that helps resist corrosion. Quality product. Great communication and very fast shipping
Purchased a reese 16,000 lbs. fifth wheel to tow a 10,000 lbs. trailer. The product is duel jaw, and works great after a year of towing. I may recommend purchasing the movable mount if installing it in a 6.5' bed. Modifying the installment, I moved my 5th wheel rearward approximately 10" so as I met the cab clearance. Works perfectly.
Easy to install, the rails have handled everything I pull with it. Two skidloader a and a camper. Just wish bolts where grade eights
Great product and easy to follow direction. The only issue I ran into was getting the bolts through the frame on my 2012 Ram 2500. The provided wires to pull the bolts through were not long enough to reach the access hole in the frame. I had to tape the wire to an extension. Other than that, directions were spot on.
