Video Transcript for Setting up the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2021 Honda CR-V

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at our WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Liners here on our 2021 Honda CR-V. This is gonna be a custom fit floor mat that's going to mold and shape to the floorboard on your CR-V here in the front seat, we've got one for the driver's and the passenger's side, and it's gonna give you a really nice all-season protection. Let's check them out. As far as the custom shape goes, you can see that really well around the edges. The high side walls are gonna protect from spills or anything reaching out of the floor mat, and then everything extends really far up underneath the pedals, so if your feet are up there, you're not gonna be getting dirt or grime into your car.

It's gonna stay on the floor mat, because we've got all that coverage all around the mat, and it's not leaving many gaps. For the CR-V here, it does use factory connectors, we just have these little twist tabs that will slot in with those holes, so just drop them in, twist it locked shut, and it won't lift up and out of the way. But even with that, it does have a nice custom fit that's gonna hold it in place, so it's not sliding around then either. On the passenger's side, we don't have any of those factory connectors, so all this does is it just slides in, and because of the custom fit, it stays in place and it's not able to shift around, and the material is kind of grippy on the carpet too, so there's that helping it stay in place. If there are any spills, the ridges here will kinda collect that water and let it all pool up down in the basin here, so it doesn't spill out and we can clean it up.

If you need to, you can take the floor mat out and just hose the whole thing off, because water isn't gonna damage it, it's gonna hold up really well to any of those elements. And overall, the material is somewhat flexible, so it is easy enough to get it into the spot where it needs to go around the seats, but it's not so flexible that I feel like it's going to move and shift around. It's pretty rigid, especially in the core here, which I think is gonna help with the long lasting nature of it and helping it stay in place. We've got the black ones in the CR-V today, but you can also get them in gray if you wanted to match it to the interior like we have here, or tan, it's really just up to you and your preferences, they're all gonna function the same way. And that's about all there is to it.

These are gonna be a really nice floor mat, they're gonna give you good coverage, and they're going to be a long lasting item for your CR-V. Thanks for watching..
