The new lower base for the Demco hitch arrived on Tuesday via Freight it was a great interaction the driver I actually knew from a previous delivery, me and a friend were able to lift the old one out of the bed of my truck and install the new one today and all I have to say is...
PERFECT FIT!
It appears that Demco has already redesigned the lower base compared to my original one to prevent this problem from happening again. I was actually kind of shocked to see that upgrade and change.
I cannot say enough good words about you with E-Trailer and Demco working with me to get this problem solvedm Yes it took a little bit of work, ultimately this time we got it. I cannot thank you guys enough.
My friend and I will be finalizing the installation and getting it locked down to the bed with a few custom spacers for the lower rails this weekend.
Here are a few pictures of the installation resuming. If I remember , when I finally pick up my new camper, I'll send some pictures along too. Have to give credit where credit is due . Not sure of you have a customer wall at HQ. I know we had one in my old shop.

The Demco slider hitch I purchased with you bed kit is truly a phenomenal piece of equipment. I’ve had many questions about my hitch to which I’d recommend to any and everyone. This is my first fifth wheel and my first experience with pulling a fifth wheel. It’s truly amazing how it operates
Product fit exactly as advertised and the installation video on etrailer's website was a great help in the installation since the installation directions that came with the kit was not very informative. I hope etrailer continues to provide installation videos for products they sell and I will definitely but from them again.

Great, very happy.
Haven't used this yet, but believe it will be terrific for lifting my Demo 5th wheel hitch to move to another truck. Purchased my Demo hitch also from Etailer.com, they are fast shipping, let you know exactly what you need for your particular vehicle. I would recommend them highly for any of your camper & auto and RVing needs!
I recently called Diana at etrailer and requested a product for a brand new dodge ram that know one else could locate. Without hesitation she new exactly what I needed and told me so right away without putting me on hold or anything, great job Diana and great products you guys have. Keep up the good work
The product was in good order. The install is somewhat difficult. The backside driver and front side passenger is easy to install. The drivers front and rear passenger is the most difficult. It would be helpful if the template was sent with the package so that you could layout the bed and drill everything from the top. Because you can't get to the front drivers side from under the truck. It took me 3 hours to install this product. One last comment is that there are 2 bags of nuts, bolts and bushing but you have to figure out what ones to use. If you know the make and model of the truck why can't the correct bolts and all of the accessories be put in the box.
