Wanting to take my reese fith wheel hitch off my ram 2020 2500 gas burner, and put on my 2014 ram 2500 diesel . Will the brackets fit or do i need another mounting kit?

It is possible that your industry standard rail system in your 2020 Ram 2500 may fit in your 2014 Ram 2500 Diesel but without knowing which brand or part number you have I can not say for certain. You will want to use all new hardware if you are able to transfer the kit over. Below are the 5th wheel industry standard rail kits that fit both of your trucks:
