Question:

Hello!...looking at purchasing a class 3 hitch for my 2025 Ford Ranger. You are offering 3 different manufacturers. Ive been able to see the Curt hitch on Youtube on a 2024 Ranger. Probably the one I will go with however being picky I see that hitch sticks out beyond the bumper and also looks to have about a 2 inch gap between the bottom of the bumper and the top of the hitch. Not that big of a deal but do the other options have a tighter fit to the bumper and not stick out past the bumper? I cant seem to find any pics of the other hitches on a 2025 Ranger........please let me know.....thanks!

Hey Tom!

I personally like the etrailer Hitch # e37ZV because it has a matte black finish that protects the metal better than a standard glossy black finish, but I see you picked up the Draw-Tite # DT35PR which is also a great hitch that I know you'll be happy with!

What drew you to that hitch over the Curt? Did you need wiring for trailer lights as well?

I was able to see a pic on one of your reviews that had the Draw-tite with a 2024 Ranger. Hard to see clearly but it appeared to be flush with the bumper instead of sticking out past the bumper. However, the same guy complained that the receiver on that hitch had been welded on crooked. I was hoping that was not the standard so I took a chance and ordered the Draw-tite. I believe it should have been delivered today so we'll see it when I get home from work..............I do not need a wiring kit since it looks like Ford does include a 4 pin connector near the bumper. PS.....I also did like the matte finish and was gonna order that one because of the finish but I was told that the people that make the "Curt" also make the e37ZV.

@TomF Let me know what you think of the Draw-Tite! Yes, it's the same as the Curt, just with the different finish.

@JonG Hey Jon!.......The hitch went on with no issues. Fit perfect. The end of the receiver is pretty much flush with the end of the bumper. I'm very happy with the look and the fit. Thanks, Tom
