Question:
Good afternoon, Hope you are going to be able to help me with this. I have a Go easy trailer from sylvan sport that came with Inno fr towers and cross bars. The problem that i have is that the maximum weight of these towers is 110lbs. I need to carry 4 bikes and 2 kayaks on my go. Total weight of my gear is around 265lbs. My go can support over 400lbs on the 2in round frame bars. I saw the HDbars that can support 300lbs but no towers that can go that high? The Timberline only goes up to 220lbs. Any suggestions? I was considering getting 2 base rack systems to instal on my go... Thank you very much

That is an interesting project you have there, and I called my friend in Yakima to discuss how it could fit. Since Sylvan Sport is not a brand we work with and can test on, we don't have the information to give confirmed fits. I can give my recommendation though based off my experience with kayak trailers.
I am curious about how you can fit 4 bikes and two kayaks onto your bars. A close equivalent of the Go Easy Trailer is the Yakima EasyRider # Y08129. The EasyRider uses 78" HD Bars # Y01159 with its own EasyRider mounts (which we do not yet carry as a standalone part). That's what gives it a 350 lbs weight capacity for the top bars on this trailer. Loading the kayaks on the deck and bikes on the bars is what allows one to carry two kayaks and four bikes. If it's just the bars, then you're limited to 4 kayaks OR 4 bikes.
Can you load kayaks on your bottom deck? Maybe with foam blocks like # MPG154? That might free up some weight for bikes on top. From there, TimberLine Towers # Y33TR, 78" HD Bars # Y01159, and HD Bar Adapters # Y03541 can complete the set up to get 220 weight capacity vs your previous 110 lbs.
