The big difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13182 (confirmed to fit your 2013 and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel models) and # C13065 is that the crossbar for the latter runs in a straight line whereas it has more of a rounded shape for the 13182.
When I spoke with my contact at Curt he said that the exhaust is in the way for the 13065 and that he believes the gas tank was in the way as well. Since the 13182 has a different design it will fit your vehicles.
So even though they have the same chassis as the non-Diesel models, the components on your vehicles will be in the way for the one trailer hitch.
