Question:
do you know the towing weight capacity for a hitch for this car?

The Curt # C11448 is the only hitch receiver we have that's confirmed to fit the 2018 Audi A5 Sportback at this time. It's maximum capacity is 2,000 pounds towing and 200 pounds tongue weight. I did some research to try and find the towing capacity of the vehicle itself but wasn't able to find anything from any source I know to be valid although some things said it could be as high as 3,900 pounds. With that being said, you're always limited to the lowest rated component so it woudn't be higher than the hitch.
The recommended ball mount with the Curt hitch is part # C45521. Use part # F-4 for the pin and clip and then either # A-82 for a 2 inch ball or # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch.
