Least Visible Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I have a new 2017 Toyota Sienna SE, I would like to put a trailer hitch on. The Curt 13105 looks relatively easy to install, especially with your video. But, I would rather use the Curt C13343 for a more custom look. I have watched the C13105 video and it makes complete sense, but the written instructions for the C13343 have you taking off the back facia. The underpanel makes sense, but I cant see any reason to take off the rear facia. it uses the same bolt holes as the C13105. It is up behind the rear facia, but nothing seems to be in the way. Can the C11343 be installed without pulling off the rear facia. My van has 50 miles on it and I a little itchy about removing exterior visible body parts. Is there an installation video for the C13343. Thanks for your help.

Of the 2 inch Curt hitches we offer for your 2017 Toyota Sienna the part # C13343 is the one to go with as it has only the hitch opening visible down below the bumper.
The instructions do recommend removing the rear fascia to install the hitch. We sometimes find that there can be shortcuts made to install hitches but in general that is not the case. We currently don't have an install video for this hitch yet either.

I am having trouble getting the 5th and 6th screws in (the two closest to the engine on driver and passenger side. It seems out of tolerance where the hitch hole is not aligned with screw insert, so the screw cannot be inserted. Anyone else have this problem?
