Whats the best way to install a 7-pin trailer plug on a 2017 Sienna? I see the kit for a 4-pin plug but not the 7-pin.

The best way to get a 7-way trailer connector on your 2017 Sienna is by first installing a 4-way connector like part # 118498 if it is an SLE model or part # 118648 for NON-SLE models.
You will then need to install a 7-way trailer harness like # ETBC7. This plugs into the 4-way and you can hardwire the additional wires as needed. Many times a 7-way is needed because the trailer has brakes which would also include needing a brake controller in the vehicle.
If that is the case, I recommend the P3 Brake Controller, part # 90195. This is one of our most popular because it works so well and is easy to operate.
I have attached a drawing that shows how the wiring is run for both a 7-way wiring harness and a brake controller you can check out. If you do not need the brake controller wiring you can tape off the wires you do not need and secure them out of the way.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
