I can certainly help you determine what parts you need to add electric brakes to your 2015 Quicksilver 10.0 tent trailer.
Based on my research, it looks like your trailer has a 2,000 pound axle. If that is the case you can use the following part numbers:
Brake Mounting Flange - # 4-34
Brake Assemblies - # AKEBRK-2L left-hand side # AKEBRK-2R right-hand side
Hub and Drums - # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K for 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern or # 8-173-16UC3 for 4 on 4 inch
Breakaway Kit - # PS50-85-320
Before ordering any components, I strongly recommend you double check your axle's capacity. If it is not a 2,000 or 2,200 pound axle, let me know and I will be happy to recommend the correct parts for you. You can also check and see if your trailer axle already has a brake mounting flange.
For trailer wiring, I recommend using the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000. This will provide you with a 7-way trailer connector on your trailer so that the brakes can get signal from the vehicle. To run the signal wire back to the brakes, you will want # 12-2-1, which is sold by the foot. You will also need Butt Connectors # DW05745-5. You will want to run the # 12-2-1 wire to the brake assemblies, and either wire on the brakes can be used for signal or ground.
The trailer brake controller I recommend for your 2015 Honda CR-V is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. The Prodigy P3 is our most popular brake controller, and it has all the best features. It has a customizable LCD display that provides easy-to-read troubleshooting. The P3 has integrated safeguards that protect your vehicle, trailer, and the controller. I have attached a review video of this controller for you.
To install the brake controller, you will first need to have a 4-pole harness, like # 118561, already installed. Then you will want to use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers # ETBC7. This kit will provide you with a 7-way connector at the rear of your CR-V and all of the wiring and hardware needed to install the connector and brake controller. I have attached the installation instructions for the ETBC7 kit for you, as well as an installation video of the kit on a similar 2014 CR-V.
I have attached a help article on adding electric brakes to a trailer for you.
