Replacement Hydraulic Drum Brakes and Hubs for E-Z Loaded Boat Trailer

Question:

I dont like talking on the phone. : I have a 2002 EZ loader that I just got that has been in salt water and I need some hydraulic brake parts. vin:1zeadmsh02a023517 1. Drums are 5x4.5 and 10inch inside diameter where the brake pads sit. 2. Ive got 40715 and 40716 in my cart and it looks like any integrated 10inch hub will work. 3. I was going to add a couple of these AKIHUB-545-35-K since the trailer is dual axle but the 2nd axle doesnt have brakes. 4. My question is that your down on make doesnt have ez loader listed, so maybe they have special parts or something I dont know about.

Demco free-backing 10 x 2-1/4-inch galvanized hydraulic brakes # 40715 and # 40716 are intended for a 3500-lb axle with a 4-on-4 brake flange mounting pattern. These are a great choice for replacements for your trailer's one axle. These brakes work with 13- to 15-inch wheels. As long as you've matched your axle rating, drum size and mounting pattern these brakes should be perfect for your boat trailer. E-Z Loader trailers are pretty popular and they use readily available parts.

If you need new galvanized hub/drums for the axle with brakes you may be able to use # 8-247-50UC3-EZ. New hubs need to use the same set of bearings as your current ones in order to ensure they'll fit on your spindles. The above hub/drum and idler hub # AKIHUB-545-35-K use inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649. If your current hubs use these same bearings then these hubs will fit fine as replacements.
