Question:
How can I tell if my KIA Sedona is a short or long wheelbase model? It is a 2009 model.

Expert Reply:
On the 2009 Kia Sedona, the long wheelbase has the third row seating that will fold into the floor. The short wheelbase does not have that feature.
The Curt Trailer Hitch, # C13345, is for the long wheelbase Kia Sedona. It is a bolt-on application with no drilling required.
If you have the short wheelbase Kia Sedona then you will use the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75551.
The installation on this hitch does require removal of the tie-down hook and there is a access hole on the passengers side frame rail that needs to be enlarged by drilling.
I am sending two links to the installation instructions on both of the hitches.
I recommend using the proper size and weight rated accessories for your trailer hitch which would be
the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, # 2753, a Pin and Clip, # PC3, and a hitch ball.
The hitch ball you need will depends on the size of the coupler on the trailer you will be towing. If it is a 2 inch coupler then you need Tow Ready Hitch Ball with 2 inch Diameter Ball, # 19247, if it is a 1-7/8 inches coupler then you need Tow Ready Hitch Ball with 1-7/8 inch Diameter Ball, # 19260.
The wiring harness you will need is the Draw-Tite T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118410, which will plug in to the vehicle taillights. It does not require any cutting or splicing of the wires.
I am sending a video link of a hitch installation on a 2008 Kia Sedona long wheelbase.
