How do Trailer Brake Magnets Wire to Trailer Wiring.

Question:
just got it today .mounted does it wire up ,i wired it with the old wires as i do not have battery in to cheak which is hot ,i was thinking plunger in no contact when plunger pulled you have contact or do i have to wire hot to acertaincolor if so coler gets the hot lead?you people are great iwill be back again.

Brake magnet wires like what are on the brake assembly # 23-106 that you referenced can be wired up with either wire getting the positive and the other getting the ground. As long as current runs through them it doesn't matter which wire gets the positive circuit and which gets the negative (run to the trailer frame).
In case you are wondering about wiring up a breakaway system I attached a chart and help article that should detail everything. When the plunger of a breakaway system is pulled the circuit would be completed and the brakes would get voltage from the breakaway battery. When plunger is installed the circuit would not be completed.
