Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Sedan, we're going to install part number C11282, from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like once it's installed on the vehicle. Next we'll give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10 3/4 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 6 1/2 inches. Now we'll show you how the hitch is installed. First we'll show you where your hitch mounts up on the frame.

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, we're going to install part number 60299 from Hidden Hitch. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on the car. Next we'll give you some measurements to help you out with selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 3 3/4 inches. Today on our 2012 Chevy Cruze we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C11282. Next we'll give you a couple measurements to assist you selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11 inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and point out the attachment points. We'll have a total of 4 attachment points, 2 on each side. These attachment points are pre-drilled holes in the frame by the manufacturer.

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Cruze

Today on this 2011 Chevy Cruze, we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch number 60275. And this installation with also apply to Draw-Tite hitch part number 24859. Before we get started with our hitch installation, we are going to go ahead and give you a couple of the final install dimensions which will make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is going to measure 10 inches and from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure approximately 7 inches. We are going to go ahead and move on to our installation. So up underneath the vehicle now, we go ahead and point out the mounting holes that we are going to be using to attach the hitch to the vehicle. Looking over here on the passenger side frame rail, you can see we have got multiple holes. We are going to be using the rear most hole here and then if you follow forward on the frame, we are going to be using the middle hole as our final attaching point. And that is going to be the same on both the drivers and passenger sides of the vehicle. And here at the forward most hole, this larger hole, we are actually going to be using that as our access point to get our hardware inside the frame.
