Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles Installation - 2004 Mini Cooper

Today on this 2004 Mini Cooper, we're going to install part number BX88267 from Blue Ox. This is their tail light wiring kit for towed vehicles with LED bulbs. First thing were going to do is take a floor wire and we'll route it down towards the front of the vehicle and to the center. We'll run it down below the driver's side head light below the bumper cover and out to the center. Go ahead and open up the panel below the vehicle so we can get better access to the wires that we pushed through. Pull it down across and then route it out to our opening into the grill.
Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2010 Hyundai Elantra

Today on our 2010 Honda Elantra, well be installing the Roadmaster Universal High Powered Diode Wiring kit, part number RM-154.To begin our installation, here at the bumper, well install a bracket for our four pole. With that installed, we'll go ahead and take our four pole here on the front of the vehicle and attach it to our bracket. With that done, we'll go ahead and route our wiring toward the back of the vehicle to the taillights. Now as we are routing our wiring, we'll want to make sure that we stay away from any hot components such as the vehicles exhaust or moving components like the vehicle suspension in order to keep our wire in good shape. This will prevent it from getting hot like it would next to your vehicles exhaust or from being broken like it would from being next to your vehicles suspension.Now back here, on the back of the vehicle, we'll find a rubber grommet on the drivers side rear fender. We'll go ahead and cut the grommet to allow our wiring to pass through it.Were now in the vehicles trunk.

All right, today on this 2013 Ford C Max were going to install part number bx8869 from Blue Ox. All right, first thing were going to do is going to take our four-pole wire. Were going to route it to the back. Were going to start by the front bumper over by the base plate and work our way back. As we work our way back well make sure that we stay away from the moving, like suspension components or anything hot like the exhaust. In this case were able to run it underneath the sub-frame and then we hid the wire underneath some appearance panels below the vehicle.
TowDaddy Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles Installation - 2010 Jeep Liberty

Today on our 2010 Jeep Liberty, we'll be installing the TowDaddy Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for towed vehicles, part number TD3008SSK. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear cargo door. Then we'll remove the two fasteners securing the tail lik\ght housing on the driver's side. Once the the fastener's removed, we can go ahead and pop the tail light housing out of place. Be careful not to break the alignment tabs underneath, and it may be necessary to use a flat blade screwdriver to assist. We'll be using a small plastic pry bar.
TowDaddy AutoFUSE Automatic Fuse Disconnect Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox

Today on this 2013 Chevrolet Equinox were going to install part number TD703 from Tow Daddy. This is Tow Daddys Autofuse automatic fused disc connect for towed vehicles. This is designed for mini fuses. Our first step is to go ahead and check out the owners manual to see which fuse needs to be removed so it can have the vehicle towed. Once we have that established well go ahead and find the fuse, and the fuse block. Well go ahead and remove the fuse and then well test the socket itself.
Base Plate Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox

Today on this 2012 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to install part number 38955. now to install this wire harness we're going to work our way from the front and then to the back. We're going to take a few minutes to tape up our wires along with our ground wire and we'll attach it to the tow bars that we're previously installed on the vehicle. Then we'll start running our wires toward the back. We'll take the white wire with the ring terminal and ground it to the body. Now when we ground our white wire we'll use number 14 self-tapping screw that is not included with this kit.
