RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2010 Buick Enclave

Today in our 2010 Buick Enclave we will be completing a flat-tow setup using Roadmaster's Falcon Two tow bar. This is what our Buick Enclave is going to look like when it's all set up and ready to flat tow.One of the reasons we chose the Falcon Two is because it's a non-binding tow bar. What this means is if you're parked on uneven ground, such as a camping site or in some RV parks, it can be difficult to get your vehicle disconnected from the tow bar because it's in a bind. You press on the button here, and that'll help free up the arm, making it easier to disconnect your tow bar from your vehicle. And when not in use, the tow bars can be stored in an upright position. They simply fold us here with this joint. The head of the bolt here will rest inside the opening here, and that'll keep it up out of the way.

Base Plate Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Buick Enclave

Today on this 2009 Buick Enclave we are going to install 38955. We will start off by taking the wire harness and just pull it on through so the 4-pole harness is going to end up by the tow bar and wrap up some of the wire with some electrical tape to keep it nice and together. Leave some extra hanging out for now. Now lets continue on routing our wire from the front of the vehicle all the way back and we are going to make sure we stay away from anything that is moving or hot. What we will do is take our ground wire and we are going to attach it to this cross member right here. Now we will continue on running the harness to the back of the vehicle. 00:38

Roadmaster Base Plate Installation- 2009 Buick Enclave

Today on this 2009 Buick Enclave we will be installing part number 523149-1 from Roadmaster. The first thing we need to do is get underneath the hood of the vehicle and remove some fasteners so we can remove the front fascia. There are 12 fasteners that need to be removed. To remove the rivet there is a dent inside here that you pop the screwdriver in and kind of pick up the middle part. Then you can use your rivet tool and just pull it out. These sunken rivets are a pain, just take your screwdriver and work your way around it. Then remove the engine cover. Now there is a Phillips screw, one on each side that we need to remove. :56
