Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the replacement head support. This is going to be for the Reese Titan 16 fifth wheel trailer hitch. So if something happened to that original cross brace but everything else is in working order, nothing else is bent or broken, we can just replace that head support beam on our fifth wheel trailer hitch and then still be able to utilize it to haul our fifth wheel trailer down the road. It's a lot easier than investing in a whole new fifth wheel if we already have everything that we need. It's just this one component. So this is going to work for two different hitches.
They're both going to be the Reese 16 fifth wheel trailer hitches. Those part numbers are RP30866 and also RP30869. Both of those are available here at etrailer.com if you want to check those for reference and make sure they look like your original, but should look like this guy here. It's going to have all the same specs, so we'll still have the stickers on the side, allowing us to see whenever our trailer or our fifth wheel trailer hitch is going to be locked versus unlocked. It also has all our warnings on the other side as well, so still has all those same features as our original beam.
It does have the black powder coat so it'll be able to resist any kind of rust or corrosion. If you need replacement mounting hardware, that is available, sold separately. That part number is RP58490. It's also the related product on the product page here at etrailer.com. So definitely check it out if you need that hardware as well. But that's pretty much all there is to it.
I'm going to give you a few measurements just for reference, but again it should be an exact match from Reese. Overall length is about 24 inches. The space between our braces here, just these ears, it's about three and an eighth inch. Total height of those, or the total height of our brackets, about six and three quarter inches. And then depth, about six and three quarter inches. So I hope that's been helpful in determining if this is going to be the right part for you.
And if not, we have a lot of other options available here at etrailer.com if you need a whole new fifth wheel trailer hitch or just the hardware to go with the brace. But thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.
