Reese hitches are made well designed to last
I had a 16K airbag pin box from Reese which failed and e-trailer warranted it but Reese didn’t make that hitch anymore so we upgraded to the 20K non airbag sidewinder pin box and have not had any problem since then.
The only thing I have an issue with is there policy on returns which is very disappointing it can cost a lot of money to return a defective part. This should not cost the customer for defective parts!!!!!
Other than that e-trailer is great to work with. Already used them again for suspension upgrade
I have liked my replacement Reese M5 head assembly. It’s easy to use and pulls my 5th wheel nicely.
A good hitch overall but it did clunk a little at starts and stops. I sold it and replaced it with a B&W companion 25K.
I put it on right after it arrived and it fit the hitch perfectly. I hooked it up to the 5th wheel camper and pulled it forward, everything was super simple.
Been doing business with etrailer on and off for about 15 years. I have purchased small items like trailer controllers and bike racks and have always been satisfied. Bought my Reese M5 hitch from them. Had a problem with the head assembly. etrailer took it back with out an issue and sent a replacement. PDQ. They are great. Everyone I dealt with were also fantastic to deal with. In the future I would even pay a few bucks more to do business with this co.

Hitch arrived with a damaged release handle and customer service was great. They sent a new handle and had it with in a couple of days. The hitch itself is awesome. I pull a 40ft fifth wheel with no problem
