This is a great hitch. Highly recommend this hitch. This is my second curt hitch, first one was on my ford f450 but unfortunately that one wouldn’t fit on my new truck, do to shank size.

It was just what I was looking for to pull my fourteen thousand pound trailer. Now I can go from one trailer to another no problem. The price was the best I could find and shipping was lightning fast!
I like the overall versatility of this hitch but the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because Curt is manufactured in the USA. The box I received says it was made in India! I hope this metal is strong and well made cause my horses lives depend on it.

Thank you for your review. The Curt hitches are assembled in the USA but not the ball mounts. The only adjustable ball mounts that we carry that are made in the USA are the B&W adjustable ball mounts like part BWTS10040B.
Work like it should and is easy to adjust.I like.the set screw on the back to keep the hitch from rattling and to lock the pins also.Well pleased
Just what I needed in a drop hitch. Very stout. Love the ability to change by 1 inch at a time.

This has made life so much easier for switching around trailers and being able to load level everything. Should have bought one much sooner.
Love this ball mount, i just bought a new dump trailer and needed something with some meat to it. This product it solid steel and can with stand a very heavy load. I would reccomend this product to anyone. I started with another brand product and it just could not handle the tough jobs.

Great hitch, after one year I still recommend. Get one!
Ordered Curt C45900 for my work truck. Chose this product because it's rated slightly above what I need, it's steel and highly adjustable. Etrailers website is very easy to navigate, has a lot of installed photos for comparisons and has fast shipping. Will continue to shop with Etrailer as needs arise.
I am very impressed with C45900 ball mount. Curt is an excellent manufacturer. The only thing I did not like are the snap rings on the pins. I have seen those get hooked unintentionally or be pulled to steal the ball mount. I replaced Curt's pins with Grade 8 bolts, drilled holes and secured with a padlock. It would be nice if someone made a locking hitch pin with enough span for the channel. I added the reflective tape for higher visibility. I live in Phoenix where they have a plant. Please run this idea by them and let me know what they think. The two locking hitch pins would only raise the price by $50. If you have a vendor who has longer pins please let me know. Using unsecured pins is asking for trouble. Thanks--Jerry
This hitch is as KISS as an adjustable hitch could be. Built very well, with good thick gussets, a solid receiver shank, perfect welds and a good powder coat. The fact the trailer balls are built from one forged piece means no worry about a nut loosening and no weld to potentially break. I would go ahead and recommend you buy two replacement rubber isolators and just go ahead and put them in the other two holes in the hitch so no matter where the ball is it has some contact with an isolator without having to move the one it comes with. I highly recommend etrailer, they have great prices and fast shipping and they put out a lot of very helpful videos and pictures of the products they are selling.
The hitch worked great I bought this hitch plus a Curt Lunette ring C48660 for my pull truck. Used the hitch setup for the first time last night and worked flawless, I would definitely recommend this setup to my friends the price was great and the hitch is well built.Thanks etrailer

Still Great
Excellent product. Installed in minutes. I tow a 14 k lb dump trailer. Needed the additional rise on the hitch. The draw bar is adjustable so that I can tow my utility trailer as well. High quality like most products I have purchased from etrailer.com

Very good except the Rubber s have worn causing hitch to vibrate
It is a good product with good selectibility to tailor your ball height to your towed trailer. I like the anodized ball coating to prevent rust in our harsh MN winter climate. I would buy again.
This hitch has worked out great for me over the last year. It’s very heavy duty and easy to adjust. I’ve hauled a 9,000 lb boat, long-distance on numerous occasions without issue. I also haul a landscape trailer on a daily basis weighing over 5,000lbs and haven’t had a single issue. Great hitch that was significantly cheaper than others and is very high quality. I’ve recommended it to several people and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. The only thing I would like to have now in a hitch is a tongue weight gauge, but it isn’t necessary.
This is a solid, heavy duty, and well built product. Use 2 hands inserting and removing from the receiver.
This ball mount has been working quite well for us; our old Airstream needs the 2 5/16" ball fairly high, and our boat trailer needs its 2" ball about 4 inches lower. This ball mount makes it simple to switch back and forth w/o tools and without carrying multiple mounts. Our equipment trailer and utility trailer have their own preferred heights; this unit handles all of them. There's also enough shank to use our Rock Tamers with the Airstream.
