The hitch has worked flawlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the performance.
I recently sold my old truck and purchased a new one. Of course, the single mount hitch doesn't fit the new truck. I called etrailer to see if I can use the same hitch. The person, don't remember her name, said lets see what we can do. She said you cannot use base you have for the new truck. Here's what we can do. Purchase just the Slider Base then you can use the original head assembly. That's was great. You saved me about $600 by keeping my original head assembly. I really like my B&W companion hitch. The only problem I had with the new base was how to easily lineup the pins to the truck pucks. The instructions made me think it was easy, not so much. Anyway, that is my only complaint but I think after a few times of removing and install, we'll get better at it.

Its been a year and over 12k miles since Ive installed the hitch. Its been in and out of the truck, a couple times. Im getting the hang of putting it together. I use and engine hoist and the optional eyelet to lift the beast out of the truck when I want to use the bed. Again, thank you etrailer for your help.

Well when I originally ordered this hitch for my new truck they said it was on back order and probably wouldn’t ship until June 22-24 but here it it the 28th of may and I received today and already have it assembled and installed in my 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 DENALI. I have used B&W hitches in the past and IMHO I think they are a top notch quality product. I have also Purchased from etrailer in the past and their prices can’t be beat. I look forward to shopping there again.

I priced this hitch at 2 local dealers and then purchased it from etrailer for $[XX] dollars less than the lowest local price!!! Part of my initial order was lost and had to be reshipped, but customer service which was a real human being was very helpful, efficient, and courteous. I had no trouble installing the hitch by my self, and that is saying something for a 76yo. I would never consider buying anywhere else. $[XX] - WOW! That will pay for a lot of diesel to pull my new 5th wheel camper!
Love this slider. Had some damage done to my truck and 5th wheel when we upgraded due to the extra nose length. This has been a life saver. I no longer am afraid to make a sharp turn.

Definitely worth the investment. No more worrying about the nose of my 5th wheel hitting the rear window. This product gives the extra clearance with an easy to operate slide.
So far, so good. I've mounted it in the truck, and everything fits as advertised. RV is in winter storage, so it will probably be several months before I pull with it

Not great. Faring on the top rear of the cab on my 2020 GMC Sierra Denali reduces clearance by ~6 in, therefore the turning radius is severely restricted. One too many RV-to-cab contacts. Although Im sure under the right circumstance, this hitch would be great, it didnt work for me. I was able to trade my B&W hitch to a local RV dealer for an Anderson hitch, which works out much better for my purposes.

Arrived in great condition as expected. We've had the old style BW 5th wheel hitch with the square peg, this new base is a good cost effective way to use the same head in our new 2500 tow vehicle.
do not like it at all it is so heavy it takes two people to move it tailgate has to be down if you side it back and the camper that i have has no problems turning, was told i needed it because my truck is a short bed
So excited to receive our 5th wheel Slider base. It arrived at least 2 weeks earlier than expected.

Im not very happy the lever that locks the slide doesnt stay up so you can use the slide, it takes a second person to hold it up.I was sent a picture to adjust it , doesnt seem to be the same.

We happen to be on a trip now with our 5th wheel trailer. I extremely satisfied with my B&W hitch, it operates smoothly & very easy hook up and disconnect. I would highly recommend this hitch.
The same superior construction and design I've come to know and expect from B&W.
