The correct B&W Companion slider base for the factory pucks on your new 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 is the part # BWRVB3775. This will hook right up to your existing Companion head so that it can mount to the pucks in your truck bed. The whole hitch including both the head and slider base is part # BWRVK3775

GM changed the puck configurations for the 2020 model Silverados so the Replacement Slider Base # BWRVB3770 that you referenced, which was designed for 2016-2019 Chevy/GMC trucks, will not fit the new models.

The best height setting will depend on your truck's height in relation to the pin box height on your trailer (this differs with every truck/trailer combo). What you can do is measure from the ground to the truck bed floor and also from the ground to the pin box on the trailer. The difference between those two measurements will give you the ideal hitch height.
