Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side rear bumper. You will have to lower your muffler to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Now, at the time of the recording of this video, this has been designed to fit your 2025 and newer GMC Acadia and then your 2025 Buick Enclave, and then your 2024 and newer Chevrolet Traverse. On custom-fit parts such as this wiring harness, go ahead and take advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Just input the year, make and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm that this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. It is possible that this could work with like the newer Enclave, so again, just confirm the fit with our Vehicle Fit Guide.
So, obviously, this is going to give you the 4-pole flat trailer connector, the back of your vehicle to power your trailer signal lights. This is also going to be compatible with your five, six, and 7-pole adapters. Those adapters are sold separately. And what I like about this harness is this is going to connect real quick, real easily. You're not gonna have to worry about cutting wires or splicing wires, you're just gonna locate the connection point behind the driver's side rear bumper and plug this in.
This does come with a dust cap for the four-way flat connector, so as you can see, it's gonna cover up those connection points when they're not in use. You are going to receive two 10 amp fuses, cable ties to secure any slack in your wiring, and an instruction sheet to guide you through the installation and operation. As the Curt Industries website indicates, this is the correct 4-pole wiring harness for the 2025 Buick Enclave. Unfortunately, I ordered another harness that etrailer said would fit, but it did not work. Once I had the correct harness, it installed easily and works perfect.
I have not used it yet as I don’t have a trailer hitch. However, shipping was fast and the attention to detail in tracking is the best. I’ve bought a trailer hitch for my previous car and everything went smooth as described. I trust them 100% with their products!
