Dimensions of S-Hooks on the Curt # C80151 Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables
Question:
What diameter will this S hook fit over? My OEM hitch has .75 inch diameter retention features for the safety chains. Some S hooks will fit over this, and some will not.

Expert Reply:
The S-Hooks on the Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # C80151 have an opening of 13/16" so they will be slightly larger than the 3/4" diameter retention features on your OEM hitch. If you would like one that is a little larger than that we have the Curt # C80176 which has an opening of 7/8" (see attached photos).
