Question:

I read that the replacement bulb is a #94 push in type. However, the installation video you have shows a more rounded headed bulb in the socket. Im familiar with #94 bulbs and they dont look like the one in the video. Im trying to confirm the bulb types that can be utilized to replace in this unit. I have purchased some clearance marker lights from another store seriously considering returning them for these and what I like about them is that they take two twist lock type bulbs. I can replace that unit with bulbs up to 3.8 wattls #1895s and that would give me 7.6 watts lighting. However, they dont make replacement lenses. You would have to buy a whole new unit. You have replacement lenses for this unit, but the cost is almost as much as buying a new one too. Its a toss up. I like the push in for the greatest contact it gives and the weather proof socket on this unit is appealing. The lense might be better.but I could not compare that unless side by side under illumination. Thanks and hopefully I can come to a decision when some of these questions are answered Also, I have had a real hard time finding bearings for my 3500# axle at the auto stores. One bearing is marked L68149 and the other I can't make out. The camper place "thinks" it might be L44649 but they won't guarantee that because mine is not marked. Of course, if I brought the camper in for work they would find the right fit. They also sdaid their seals are double lipped with a spring retainer. That style I like. Can you advise bearings and what would be your replacement for them, and maybe even your seals and are the same in construction (double seal with a spring) etc

We do have clearance lights that may work for you. The clearance lights we offer come in amber or red and we have either 1 or 2 bulb units.

You mentioned you like the 2-bulb feature on some clearance lights. I recommend part # MC66RB. This light comes with 2 incandescent bulbs and has a red lens. The amber version of this light is part # MC66AB. Both of these lights use the replacement bulbs, part # A194B. These are push-in bulbs.

The replacement lens for the red light assembly is part # A66RB, and for the amber light the replacement lens is part # A66AB.

For 1-bulb lights part # MC32RB has a red lens and the amber light is part # MC32AB. The replacement lens for these lights is part # A32AB for amber and part # A32RB for red. These lights use the # A194B push-in bulb as well.

For your bearings, we do offer a replacement kit that may work for you. The kit I recommend is part # BK2-100. This includes the inner bearing # L68149, outer bearing # L44649, inner race # L68111, and outer race # L44610, a 10-19 seal that has an inside diameter of 1.719 and an outside diameter of 2.565.

I have attached a drawing that shows where you need to take the measurements on your spindle with a precision instrument like a digital caliper to make sure you find the correct parts.
