On my flatbed truck the latch pin runs from the back of the truck to the front. Will the B And W RVB3055 work on my truck?

The Replacement Base for B&W Companion Flatbed 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # BWRVB3055, will work for your 2012 Dodge Ram 3500, if you have a steel bed on your truck and if you have the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks, part # BWGNRK1500, installed.
My contact at B&W told me that there is additional steel required for support when installing the # BWGNRK1500. They told me they do not have a gooseneck hitch for an aluminum bed on a flatbed truck.
