Question:
my brake away switch heated up and the pin feel out ,i have to get it to the dealer to be fixed . can i by pass the brake away switsh in order to tow it

There is a way to bypass the breakaway system of your trailer but I would only recommend you do so to get your trailer to a dealer so that it can be fixed. If you were to get pulled over and the breakaway system was to be tested you would get in trouble.
To simply bypass the system you would just need to cut the wire that goes from the switch to the brake output circuit of your trailer wiring.
