Will Trailer Brakes Still Function if Breakaway Kit isn't Hooked Up

Question:
Im sorry my question is that i have everything conected to my trailer, but i dont have my break away battery conected and i would like to know if my trailer will still brake when my truck brakes thank you very much and ill wait for a response

Your trailer's brakes will still activate like normal if you have your breakaway kit not connected. It's not recommended to tow a trailer with a non-functioning breakaway kit though.
