In order to use the BoatBuckle Kwik-Lok Gas Tank or Battery Box Tie-Down Strap, # IMF05343, you will want to attach the 2 included footman loops with the stainless steel screws to your boat. Next, slide the strap through the loops and weave it through the Kwik-Lok buckle, then turn the buckle down to tighten the strap.

I have attached a picture which demonstrates the Kwik-Lok threading instructions.
