Can a Dual Hitch Receiver be Used to Tow Trailer and Carry Motorcycle with Nissan Titan

Question:
Hello, I need to haul my tear trailer which has a tongue weight of 100 lbs, along with a small motorcycle on a tilt-ramp, weight of maybe 450 lbs total. I have a Nissan Titan with tow package. Tongue rated for more than 900 lbs. I wan to use a double hitch extender, can you recommend one?

The use of a dual receiver will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch on your Nissan Titan by 50 percent. That would take the tongue weight capacity down to 450 pounds. The combined with of the motorcycle, carrier, and the trailer tongue weight would exceed the reduced capacity of the hitch.
Another option is to use a front mount hitch and carry the bike at the front of the Titan. This can reduce air flow to the motor, decrease driver visibility, and block the head lights. But this is the best option if you are unable to put the bike in the bed of the truck. I would need to know the year of your Titan to determine if a front mount hitch is available.
If the truck bed is an option let me know the bed length and I can make some recommendations.
