Where do you access the plug for that connection?

When installing Curt trailer wiring harness # C55260 on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, both connectors will install on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the tail light and interior trim panels. Look for the matching connectors that look like the gray and black connectors on the harness. This harness is designed to fit on vehicles that have the factory tow package. If yours does not have the factory tow package the wiring may not be present or active for this wiring harness.

If that is the case you would need to use a different harness, either # C55349 or # 118349. Both of these harnesses plug in line with the vehicle tail light wiring behind each tail light.
