we want to buy a 2014Ford Fusion hybrid s or se to tow behind our motorhome.When checking your site we saw highlighted in yellow non energy she with adaptive cruise control. Can you clarify for us that the FORD FUSION HYBRID S OR SE CAN BE TOWED FLAT. THANK YOU.

The best place to find out about a vehicle's ability to be flat-towed is the owner's manual. Also the dealership can check the car's VIN number to see the exact equipment (transmission, drive train components, etc) that went into it. This information will let them determine any preparation steps or additional equipment that may be required to ready the car for wheels-down towing behind your motor home.

For example, some cars can require a driveline disconnect or installation of a transmission lube pump to make them flat-tow ready. Again, your owner's manual is the best place to start.

Some vehicles will be towable only using a tow dolly such as # RoadMaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1. This is often the case for front-wheel-drive cars.
