Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Dicor black seal type foam core butyl tape. Now, if you're replacing or repairing an RV window, this butyl foam core ceiling tape is designed to give you a reliable, weather resistant seal between your window frame and the RV wall. Unlike standard butyl tape, this has a round foam core center that's going to help hold its shape, making it much easier to position around curved window openings and tight corners without constantly shifting or flattening. Giving you a little peak here of what we have underneath the film. So the foam core is also going to help reduce the sagging and excessive oozing that can happen with traditional butyl tape during installation.

What that means for you is you're going to get a cleaner application and more controlled sealant placement, making the insulation process less messy and easier to manage. This is built to handle a wide range of temperatures, so it's going to maintain its performance, whether your RV is exposed to hot summer days or cooler weather. The tape measures five sixteenth of an inch, and overall it's about 44 feet long, so should give you enough material for multiple window repairs or replacements, depending on the size and number of windows.
