Can Demco Charge Line Kit be Used with Other Brand Braking Systems

This looks like a stand alone application. Any reason it cannot be used with another braking system? Thanks DM66VR

Hey Troy, welcome back! Yeah this is a great question but the Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Kit part # DM66VR can be used basically with any braking system. You wouldn't be limited to only a Demco system. What system do you have and what are you flat towing?

Yes, this charge line kit will work with all 7 way plugs towing a vehicle, no matter what braking system you are using. Its sole function is to keep a trickle charge going to your towed vehicle’s battery from your RV, to prevent a dead battery on a long road trip. It will not charge a dead battery, but will help a good battery hold its charge. Without the kit, braking systems, that require power from the towed vehicle battery, can drain the battery on long trips. The simplicity of installation and being able to start the engine with your towed vehicle’s battery when you get to your destination makes this part a Must Have.
