Question:
Can you help me compare the Furrion FR97KR 21 with the Furrion FR43TF 20. I am replacing a Dometic R2131 so I think the cutout dimensions should be similar in either case. Just wondering if the difference between these two is the installed height 20 vs 21 or something else that Im not seeing. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Kevin, this is a great question but the difference between the two Furrion Propane RV Range/Ovens is the color. The part # FR97KR has a stainless steel panel behind the knobs and the part # FR43TF instead has black. Both will work great but I would just go with the one that has the color/look you prefer. I attached pictures of both so you can see the difference.

We put one in March 2026 to replace our Dometic (just tired of having the burners come unscrewed after every trip). We left the outer rim that rests on the countertop and the stove fit right in. It does sit lower and you will either need to brace it up so it is level with the counter top, or do what we did and have a fitted wooden cutting board that sits on the glass and is level with the counter (we love this). Would send photos but not sure how to attach. We love the knobs turn red when the gas is engaged and you can have blue lights on or turn them off, and there is an oven light! The stove generates a lot of heat and it can get pretty warm around it while in use. Over all we are very pleased with it. Hopefully they have improved the shipping as ours came damaged but was mostly cosmetic, I was able to whack the trim back in place and we installed anyway. I understand that many have had shipping damage, but if you do for some reason eTrailer is very fast at responding.
