Will the fastway 600 lbs spring bar work with an Equalizer weight distribution system rated for 1000 lbs hitch weight? I understand the Equalizer 1000 lbs system bars are 1-3/8inch square but the Equalizer 600 lbs bars are only 1-1/4inch square. Are the Fastway bars 1-3/8foot square and 36inch long?

Hey George. I have a solution for you but the Replacement Trunnion Spring Bar for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems item # FA92-02-0699 will not work with the 1,000 lbs tongue weight Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System item # EQ37100ET. The pin holes in the bars connect differently inside the weight distribution heads. You'll need to use the 600 lbs Replacement Spring Bars item # EQ90-01-0699.
The 600 lbs Replacement Spring Bars item # EQ90-01-0699 are not compatible with the head that comes with the 1,000 lbs tongue weight Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System item # EQ37100ET. You'll also need the 600 lbs TW Replacement Head item # EQ90-02-0600. This combo will give you the 600 lbs TW Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System item # EQ37060ET.
The Equal-i-zer Spring Arms item # EQ90-01-0699 measure 35-1/2" long by 1-1/4" tall by 1-1/4" wide. These spring arms have a 600 lbs tongue weight capacity and are designed for the 6,000 lbs item # EQ37060ET system.
The Replacement Trunnion Spring Bar for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems item # FA92-02-0699 measures 34-1/4" long by 1-3/16" tall by 1-3/16" wide.

Jerred, Thanks for you response, However, I am not sure that I am clear on whether or not you are telling me that I can use 600 lb Equalizer bar with my 1000 lb Equalizer head? Or, do I also need to purchase a new Equalizer head? The bars and head slots in y current 1000 lb system measure 1-3/8" square. It seems that the 1-1/4" 600 lb bars won't work without changing the head. Is there any cheaper alternative to replacing both the head and the bars? George
