Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and measured the caps included with the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit # XLPROLUBE2440KIT. The caps are approximately 2" tall overall including the cap and lid.
How much room do you have inside your hub covers?

Is that measurement from end to end or shoulder to end of the cap?

I've had great luck with these. I have a triple axle boat trailer and I upgraded the brakes and hubs and went with the oil, bath, bearings and seals and so far everything's working great. I've had a problem with one wheel in particular but it could be my problem. It keeps leaking but I think I've got it fixed now. Just be very careful about how you install the seals and the cap on the outside. I had to use a die grinder with the little wire mesh wheel to take off the dakra mat finish because everything was too tight. But other than that you're doing good
