The Redarc brake controller is very easy on the 2023 frontier, the 26 should be the same. You pull the panel to the left of the foot emergency brake and it plugs in there. There is a you tube video on it! I have installed the Redarc on a 22 Outback and the Nissan, the Nissan is much easier. The main unit also was mounted to the left of the brake. ! put the knob in one of the blanks to the left of steering wheel. I dremeled the back out, it looks factory!! that is probably the worst part of the job! I really like the controller for a 20' single axle camper I pull!
