Just purchased a 2025 silverado 2500, short bed, have a BandW fifth wheel hitch, looking for adapter for the puck system. Hitch model number is RVK3270,can you help?

Congrats on the new truck John. You're going to need to replace your pn RVK3270 our Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3270 with the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider item # BWRVK3775.
Unfortunately, there is no puck system adapter like item # C88KR that will allow the slider function to operate on your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3270. The slider base sits too low and it hits the adapters when you use it. We've got three different brands of puck system adapters from Curt, Demco, and PullRite and none of them work with the Patriot slider.
The B&W Companion Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3775 will attach directly to the puck system of your short bed Silverado. The Companion Slider has a 20,000 lbs capacity and will give you 12" of travel for making tight turns and backing.

I agree with Joe D. and wish I hadn't bought the B & W slider (but I love the hitch). I've been towing my 2024 Brinkley Z3100 for roughly 5000 miles and, like Joe, never used the slider function. I have the Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the short bed and 1-ton rear suspension and still needed airbags (bought them here on E Trailer) to get the ride height correct so watch for that. The reason I don't like the slider portion is that the total weight of the B&W hitch is close to 280 pounds! Yikes that's a lot and it eats up your payload capacity for no value added. Of course, there is that one person out there that will need the slider function because of a poorly laid out RV park but so far that person isn't me. I have plenty of clearance to my back window (remember, I'm towing a Brinkley and your 5th wheel may be different).

Congrats on the truck. I have the same one. Originally I purchased a slider hitch. When GM made the bed longer, it gave more room to swing. Many of the coaches do not require a slider. In 8000miles and multiple state and county parks, I never slid my hitch. hopefully, you will be able to purchase a new base that will fit your puck system and keep your existing head.
