Is There And Air Bag Kit Or Other Rear Suspension Enhancement Available For A 2025 Honda Pilot

Question:
I have a 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport and when I tow a trailer and load up for camping the back end sags. I’m looking for an airbag kit that would fit as I’ve used them before on my Toyota RAV4’s. The problem I am encountering is that there is no kit specifically set up for my car and when I try to measure the springs, they are not consistent diameter and are longer than most airbags. Do you have suggestions for something that would help? Thanks in advance! Todd

Hey Todd, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, there aren't any air bag kits, or any other suspension enhancement products made for a 2025 Honda Pilot. If the vehicle is sagging with your camper hooked up, the only way to help correct that is by using a weight distribution hitch. Those are sized based on the trailers loaded tongue weight. If you can tell me your trailers loaded weight or GVWR, that will also help narrow down the best WD hitch for your application.
For example, the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU69VJ is a great option for trailers with a tongue weight between 200 and 550 lbs.
What kind of trailer are you hauling? Know how much it weighs?

Thanks for the response. Sad to hear there aren’t any options since sometimes I head out with the car fully loaded and a tandem kayak on top. I would love to have some extra support for that. My trailer is a Scamp 16 and weighs around 2500lbs. A weight distributing hitch feels like overkill for something that small but I will take a look at your suggestion since there don’t seem to be other options. Thanks again!
