I purchased a transmission cooler for a 2009 Acadia D13504. The adapter in the kit doesn’t fit am I missing a part?

The Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting item # D13035 is designed to connect directly to your 2009 Acadia's radiator to the item # D13504 transmission cooler. It'll get you up and running and you won't have to modify anything or worry about leaks.
