Looking for Replacement for RV High Pressure Regulator GR-630

Updated 08/04/2026 | Published 08/02/2026

Question:

Im looking for GR-630 RV propane regulator. Once I find it I also need help with type of material recommended for sealing the line into the regulator. Is it a gas line tape or something else. Thanks in advance.

Hey Steve, while we don't carry the exact part number GR-630 you are looking for I was able to look up its specs and see that the JR Products regulator part # 37207-30325 has the same specs and would work great. This has a 500k btu rating and is a high pressure regulator rated for 30 psi. Since this is a gas line you'd want to use the yellow thread seal tape. What RV do you have?

I installed the JR #37207-30325 on my Momentum and as Steve said, you will use the yellow thread seal tape. My tanks are mounted on the front driver and passenger side and it was an easy removal and replace. I've not had any issues with the regulator. Hope that helps. Chris S
